Project Introduction
FMI wanted to improve how customers ordered glass – whether they were seasoned professionals or less technical users.
Out with the clunky, manual process; in with a more intuitive system that saved time and reduced friction for everyone involved.
Challenges
The glass ordering system had to serve two very different users: pros who knew exactly what to order, and everyday customers who needed help getting it right.
But there was no smart interface to support both. Every mistake meant delays, double-handling and more admin for the FMI team.
Solutions
We built a dual-path ordering system tailored to each user type. Professionals get a fast, code-driven flow. Less experienced users get a simplified path with visual cues and prompts. Smart validation catches errors early, and full integration with FMI’s internal systems keeps processing and fulfilment moving fast.
The result is a smoother experience for everyone, with fewer mistakes and quicker turnaround.
